Drodzy przyjaciele!
 
Wczoraj do Polski przyjechała grupa 12 studentów i dwóch dorosłych z amerykańskiego uniwersytetu. Udamy się z nimi do Sandomierza, by przez tydzień służyć tamtejszemu kościołowi. Sandomierska szkoła średnia zostało założona 400 lat temu przez jezuitów z zamiarem zachowania tej części kraju od jakichkolwiek protestanckich wpływów. Region ten jest zatem mocno katolicki. Mimo to szkoła ta chętnie chce przyjąć amerykańskich studentów, gdyż będą oni pomagać uczniom przygotowującym się do egzaminu maturalnego. Modlimy się, aby nasi studenci mogli nawiązać istotne relacje z uczniami liceum, a także, by mieli sposobność, aby 
dzielić się miłością Jezusa. Wieczorami będziemy jeździć do sąsiednich miast w celach ewangelizacyjnych. 

Proszę, dołączcie do nas w modlitwie za młodzież w Sandomierzu i całej Polsce. Wielu młodych żyje w mniejszych miejscowościach i czeka do ukończenia szkoły, by udać się do większych miast albo za granicę w celu nauki na uniwersytecie bądź znalezienia pracy. Pokusa zarabiania pieniędzy, zdobywania popularności czy odnoszenia sukcesów często odciąga ich od Boga i tłamsi w nich jakąkolwiek wiarę, którą być może posiadali. Módlmy się o świeże 
pragnienie w sercach młodzieży, by poznać prawdę. Oby ujrzeli Jezusa w Jego pełnej chwale i zdecydowali, że chcą z Nim chodzić. 

Boże, stwórz w Polsce pokolenie młodych ludzi, którzy będą kochać Cię całym swoim sercem!

Dear friends,

Yesterday a group of 12 students and two adults from a university in the States arrived in Poland. We will travel with them to Sandomierz for a week of service with the church there. The high school in Sandomierz was established 400 years ago by the Jesuits with the intent of guarding the region from any Protestant influence. This region of Poland is strongly Catholic. The high school is eager to welcome these American students, though, since they will assist those high school students who are preparing for their "matura" exam. We are praying that the American students will be able to develop meaningful relationships with the students and have opportunity to share the love of Jesus. In the evenings we will travel to surrounding cities for evangelistic outreaches.

Please join us in praying for the youth in Sandomierz and all of Poland. Many of them live in smaller towns and are waiting until they can finish school and head to the bigger cities or to foreign countries to study at the universities or find work. The lure of making money, gaining popularity, and finding success often pulls them away from God and chokes any faith they may have had. Let us pray for a fresh desire in the hearts of the youth to know the truth. May they see Jesus in all His glory and choose to walk with Him. 


O God, would you raise up a generation of young people in Poland who love You with all their hearts!
