<p>545 lat temu, 19. lutego, w Toruniu urodził się Mikołaj Kopernik. Znany jest przede wszystkim jako matematyk i astronom, ale był także ekonomistą, lekarzem, dyplomatą, duchownym katolickim, i nie tylko. Jego dzieło (<em>O obrotach sfer niebieskich</em>), opublikowane w 1543 roku, umieściło Słońce w centrum Wszechświata, a nie ziemię, jak dotychczas uważano.</p>
<p>Być może to dobry moment, by na nowo ocenić, kto bądź co jest centrum naszego wszechświata. Wokół czego kręci się Wasze życie? Co jest istotą Waszej osobowości? Ustawmy na nowo nasze serca w taki sposób, aby to Chrystus znajdował się w centrum. Módlmy się, aby Jezus stanowił Centrum w polskich kościołach. Niech przyjmie chwałę większą niż ktokolwiek inny. Oby wszystko, co czynimy, oddawało należną Mu cześć.</p>

<p><span style="font-size:12.800000190734863px">Dear friends,</span></p><div style="font-size:12.800000190734863px">545 years ago on this date (February 19) Nicolaus Copernicus was born in Torun, Poland. Mostly known as a mathematician and astronomer, Copernicus was also an economist, a physician, a diplomat, a canon in the Catholic church, and more. His book published in 1543 (<i>On the Revolutions of the Celestial Spheres</i>) placed the sun at the center of the universe rather than the earth, as was the belief of his day. <br></div><div style="font-size:12.800000190734863px"><br></div><div style="font-size:12.800000190734863px">Maybe this would be a good time to re-evaluate who or what is at the center of our universe. What does your life revolve around? What is at the very core of who you are? Let us re-align our hearts with Christ at the center. Let us pray for Jesus to be the Center of the churches in Poland. May He be honored above all others.
